Just got back from four days in Vegas (not my favorite city), shooting a wedding and some sessions for photographer Cyndy (one of my favorite online friends) and her peoples. Um, YAY.
Despite the dislike of Vegas and my horrible hotel room and the girl puking in the casino (oh, so many stories to tell with the “real” blog post), I was so stoked to finally meet Cyndy and Tracy and her (now) husband, Joe! Also, way beyond excited to have her be the first I’d shoot underwater with my “real” camera, my Canon 5D. The effect would have been very cool if Cyndy had worn an actual wedding dress
but she wore a very cool, kinda Grecian black and white evening dress. She looked amazing! And then, we trashed it. First in the desert then again in the pool.
I have lots to share, but I wanted to get this one up before she and Joe leave on their honeymoon. And I also wanted to tell her how much I loved meeting her and hanging with her and how all of that made up for all the other stories of Vegas that didn’t turn out so well.
Have a great honeymoon, Cyndy & Joe! Have a great marriage, and next time, you’re shooting me! And T, you rock.

btezra - awesome, I am glad you had a great time shooting while there
did the shoot in the desert that involved a pitchfork, a grave and a dead bride take place??
susan sabo - It was pretty cool to shoot there, but it was a really busy weekend (10/10/10) for weddings, and wayyy too many people! the desert shoot came out great, but we changed direction after we lost access to the groom
Cyndy - OH I’m on my honeymoon but plugged in just in case things like this pop up!!!
Wicked, wonderful, watery…I have a billion more adjectives for this!
It was awesome to finally get to meet you too, you and your adorable little voice! lol! Can’t wait to see more and next time I AM sooooo shooting you!
PS- T says heeeeyyyyyy, what color bear hat do you want?
susan sabo - hahahahahahahaha! awesome! that whole weekend destroyed my back, but was totally worth it to get this shot! next time we meet, I’ll be more raspy.
oh, and bear hat?? freakin’ brown, of course! (omg, i fell in love with that hat, i seriously spent 2 hours on Etsy last night to find one, but no luck)
Mollie (from flickr/Atlanta) - I have a bear hat! It is a honey-colored Pooh bear hat from this shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/ForwardMotionArt . Got it at Dragon*Con here in ATL. It is sooooo comfy!
susan sabo - Mollie, if there’s no picture, it didn’t happen.
Mollie (from flickr/Atlanta) - There are no bear hat pictures (yet). There is, however, owl hat picture:

susan sabo - I am digging the owl hat, M, but I yearn for a bear hat still.
