“Beat feet” is one of my favorite expressions; an ex-boyfriend of mine used it a lot. That was forever ago, but I still say that all the time (but truthfully, mostly to the dogs). On a side note, it’s also true that I have a fondness for feet shots; especially when they’re dressed up like J & T’s. This shot is from our last wedding, and last trip out of town (just two weeks ago!!) in San Jose. It’s a teaser; sorry, more to come later.

Yeah…that’s not really related to anything, LOL, just a little sharing. So it’s time for me to beat feet again outta LA back up to the Bay Area for a wedding. This is my fourth trip so far this year–wow. I’m excited about this trip because a) I think it’s a little warmer now than when I visited in the summer (haha!); b) we’re doing a really lo-key wedding for a really great couple and c) I get to go over to Berkeley, stay in my favorite motel and finally meet Apryl, the owner of Bija Collars in Berkeley. Yay! Bija is the latest store to add some of my dog portraits and shelters series shots to their store and I can’t wait to meet (and shoot!) Apryl and her dogs.
Though I’m coming to the end of my season, I still have a few really rad gigs left in the year and only one more out of town trip (totally worth it, by the way and yes Melody, I’m looking at you!). But I confess it’s been a year of driving up and down the state and I’m looking forward to a lot of non-car time at home with the dogs and Mr. Susan.
If you’re up in the Bay Area, let me know. I’m going to do my best to get up to Telegraph on this trip.
