it’s really like a striptease…

After I shoot anyone (or anything), but especially portraits or weddings, I start sending my client little peeks the next day. Sometimes, I’m able to do it the same day. I like to give them something pretty to look at as soon as possible, while they’re still riding the high of their wedding, or their session. I can’t believe how often I hear about people waiting 6 months (or a year!!) to get their proofs from a photo session. What the heck. I think that stinks, so I try to do the opposite.

Melody & Mike were married this past Saturday, and I got home yesterday afternoon. I’ve already sent them 4 pictures (I can’t help it, seriously, I start to cull and I see something shiny and I have to share). So goes the reveal of all their proofs; one here, one the next day, or the day after that, then a color gallery.

Then the rest. I love getting people excited about their pictures, because honestly, it gets me excited too. This, coming from someone who five years ago would have been nominated the least “people person” you’d ever known.
