PORTRAITS
I love portrait sessions, whether in the studio, at your house or on location. My sessions are pretty relaxed and there’s very little posing. By talking to you, asking questions, having a laugh, I work to get photos of you being your genuine self. I’m also into collaborating big time on concept shoots, so if you have something specific in mind, I’d love to brainstorm with you.
I shoot digitally but often use film (either 35mm, Polaroid, or medium format). I love to include film whenever possible because I think there’s nothing like it, and once you see it, you’ll most likely love it as much as I do.
I offer three packages that are each unique and allow you to get exactly what you want out of your photo session. If you have any questions on any of the information below, or if you have additional questions, please drop me a line and we’ll talk about it.
I. DIGITAL PACKAGE – $900
This is the perfect package for those who want to make their own prints, books, canvases, or all that other cool DIY stuff you’ve been seeing on Pinterest. All your proofs are included as hi-res digital files, printable to size 24×36 and you are given a printable Personal License should any lab or store question your rights. Please note that prints are not included in this package. Also included in the Digital Package are:
• About an hour of shooting, in studio or on location.
• Up to 50 proofs, individually processed in both color and black & white.
• A password-protected, online gallery for viewing and sharing your proofs.
• All proofs provided in hi-res digital form (max print size 24″ x 36″) on a USB flash drive, and a personal license (in PDF format) to make your own prints wherever, and whenever, you like.
• You’ll also receive all proofs provided in lo-res digital form for email, personal websites, social networking sites, etc. (sized approx. 750px x 500px). [Lo-res proofs contain a small watermark that may not be removed or cropped out. The watermark on your photos helps deter photo theft, reducing the chance that someone might use photos of you and your loved ones without your knowledge, for purposes that you did not approve.]
II. PRINT PACKAGE – $325
This package is for those of you with bare walls who want prints now! I offer either handmade prints (which I personally love) or lab prints, which are professionally printed with archival quality paper & inks. I’ll also help you choose your final photos and help with ideas on what sizes and formats would work best for the space you have. Please note that this package does NOT include hi-res digital files or prints.Also included in the Print Package are:
• About an hour of shooting, in studio or on location.
• Up to 50 proofs, individually processed in both color and black & white.
• A password-protected, online gallery for viewing and sharing your proofs.
• All proofs provided in lo-res digital form on a DVD. [Lo-res proofs contain a small watermark that may not be removed or cropped out. The watermark on your photos helps deter photo theft, reducing the chance that someone might use photos of you and your loved ones without your knowledge, for purposes that you did not approve. I think this is especially important when you're sharing photos of your children online.] Lo-res proofs are approx. 750px x 500px and are not printable.
• Option to purchase Personal or Lab prints. Personal prints are handmade by me and are usually dated and signed. Lab prints are not. Personal prints start at $15 and Lab prints start at $25.
• Option to purchase hi-res files at a reduced rate of $40 each in blocks of 5 and/or prints as described above.
III. COMBO MATERNITY/NEWBORN SESSION – $500
The combo package is for those who are expecting their first child or adding a newbie to the mix. Most clients prefer to have one session shot in the studio and one on location (I suggest the having one of the sessions at your home, where everyone is comfy cozy and it’s minimal hassle for you).
• Includes two sessions: one during your pregnancy and one featuring your brand new addition.
• Up to 100 proofs (50 from each session), individually processed in color and in black & white.
• A password protected, online gallery for viewing and sharing your proofs.
• All proofs (from both sessions) provided in lo-res digital form on a DVD. [Lo-res proofs contain a small watermark that may not be removed or cropped out. The watermark on your photos helps deter photo theft, reducing the chance that someone might use photos of you and your loved ones without your knowledge, for purposes that you did not approve. I think this is especially important when you're sharing photos of your children online.] Lo-res proofs are approx. 750px x 500px and are not printable.
• Up to eight (8) image files for your baby announcement, sized to print at approximately 3″x5″. These photos will be your choice, and can be provided in either color or black & white.
• Option to purchase Personal or Lab prints. Personal prints are handmade by me and are usually dated and signed. Lab prints are not. Personal prints start at $15 and Lab prints start at $25.
• A 20% discount is applied to any prints you order under this package; whether Personal or Lab.
• Option to purchase hi-res files at a reduced rate of $20 each in blocks of 5 and/or prints as described above.
IV. COMBO SESSION – ALL DIGITAL – $1100
• Includes everything in the Combo Maternity/Newborn Session, plus all the hi-res digital files (printable to 24 x 36) delivered to you on a USB flash drive.
V. SPY SESSION - $500
• Includes everything in the portrait session, including travel up to 35 miles (additional travel extra), and a CD of UNMARKED lo-res images in both color and black & white. Please note: the lo-res images are printable at a max size of 2″-3″.

RESCUE/TERMINALLY ILL DISCOUNT
Shelter animals are very dear to my heart and I offer a $50 discount on all sessions with your rescued beastie. I offer the same discount if your animal is terminally ill. You must mention this discount when you’re booking your session. PLEASE NOTE AGAIN, you must mention this discount at the time you’re booking your session; if you don’t, it won’t be applied to your fee.
All sessions, prints & print products are subject to CA sales tax.
