Yeah…go on, go ahead and pretend that you don’t know what that stands for ’cause I know you do. If you weren’t one of the millions of kids buying these records (actually, I think tapes; is that right?) then you had a kid who was. I’m not saying who it was in my house that was a fan, but I will tell you that there were only two people living in that house at the time, and it wasn’t me. (Sorry, Jenna!) We might even have some NKOTB paraphernalia out in the garage; not sure, but I do know there’s a Luke Perry pillow in the memory box.
There’s a massive baby boom going on right now, right? It seems like every time I log onto Facebook, someone’s expecting another new kid on the block. So many newbies! And belonging to so many rad parents! This gives me hope for humanity’s future. When I arrive to photograph a toddler and they say, “hello, Miss Susan!” it just melts me. Seriously, and those of you who know me know that I just don’t melt over anything.
This newbie was almost brand spankin’ new when I arrived to photograph her: Hannah Estelle. Ack! What an adorable name! Both sets of grandparents live too far to dote on little Hannah-Banana as often as they’d like to (that breaks my heart; my own gbaby has moved from driving distance to “get on a plane and fly up” distance). Boo. So this bunch of my favorites from the shoot are for Miss Hannah Estelle’s grandpop and her two grams. I know that if they’re not with her right now, they’re missing her madly.

Mary W - Oh how adorable she is and so tiny! Do I need to say it?? Great photos Susan. :-)
