I’ve had a Fuji Instax camera ever since I heard that Polaroid was going out of business. Actually, I had one a little before, but since my first, I’ve gotten 3 more: another widescreen, a mini, and a lomo with mini instax back (and wide lens). That’s the one I love the most; though it’s an odd shape and doesn’t ever really “fit” in my gear bag, I always try to bring it to snap a few photos of the wedding I’m shooting, and the surrounding details that all go toward making the day a little extra special.
Though this morning’s wedding at Palisades Park in Santa Monica lasted only about 10 minutes, I got there early enough to scout around with my mini insta-lomo and add some cool little photos to the package I’ll be sending Naomi & Job when they get back from London.

I love these! I have one of my dogs in my wallet, and I’ve taken some for Mr. Susan to carry in his. And I have HUNDREDS in my pola-box.
Bonus: when I give these away to brides, I include a very cool little album that they can glue the photos in for a sort of pocket wedding album.
(ps: these look *much* better in person!)
